Weekend To-Do List!

It's been quite a while since I've done one of these. The last few months have been more a whirlwind. I think this will be the first weekend in a. long. time. that I don't have to worry about apartments, jobs, moving, traveling or entertaining. I just get to enjoy the little life I've spent 6 months trying to set up for myself.

This Sunday is also one of my very dear college friend's due date! I wrote this post, right after she announced she was expecting...I can't believe its already time to meet the little guy. She's the first of a handful of friends expecting in the next 6 months. #wegrowuptofast

As baby watch commences,  I'm hoping to finish the book I started {and almost finished} in Florida, hit the late pilates class at the gym, meal plan for next week, catch up on Netflix {Parenthood season 6!!} and clean out/organize my giant closet where everything gets stuffed when I quickly 'clean' between work and traveling. I can't tell you how pumped I am to have my shoe rack up and running!!

Lots of Life News {not mine}

This last week was full of lots of exciting news for my favorite people!

Last weekend one of my favorite ladies, Allison Williams, tied the knot with her long-time {and equally hilarious} beau, Ricky Van Veen. She chose an absolutely stunning Oscar De La Renta dress complete with the ever elegant illusion neckline, deep v back and bow. The couple added a little whimsy to their classic affair by having Tom Hanks officiate!

The other very exciting news was for power-woman Ivanka Trump, who announced just yesterday they're adding a third child to their family come February. She had the cutest facebook video!




This weekend I'm off to Milwaukee to a dear college friend's Baby Shower. She's the first one of the crew to be reproducing. Its so special to be able to share the shower with everyone and be back in the midwest!

Friday Five {Momma-to-Be Edition}

April and May must have been pretty 'busy' months for people because everyone {well almost everyone} I know is preggers!  I'm so happy for these new little ones to spoil, but for now my friends are the ones that need some extra attention. Since the shower's aren't for a bit and, mostly, about baby gifts I love these ideas for Congratulation's gifts!

Busy Fall Weekends

There is a reason I've been avoiding the impending "September Goal" follow up post....mostly because I haven't completed most of them. Work sped up tremendously, then came to screeching halt all at the same time Junior League commitments picked up! I feel like I've been going a mile a minute and my to-do list never ends (yes, blogging is on there!).  I've been spending my weekends playing catch up with a lot of things. This weekend was filled with Public Relations planning, Glitter Pumpkin's, Scented Candles and lots of fall celebrations!

The boyfriend and I spent Saturday at SF Magazine's fall fest, sampling delicious food and wine from all over the bay area! Saturday night was some girl time celebrating a friend's decision to quit her job (which was decided at 1pm on Friday) and new job offer (which was given at 4pm on Friday). Sometimes things just have a way of working out.

Sunday was spent at Kingsley's beautiful baby shower! I missed the first one due to wedding plans, so it was very exciting to get to celebrate with her finally! It's so hard to believe the Little Miss will be here in a month from tomorrow and in 17 years she'll have, hopefully, pledged Theta. We taught her how to do twin star hands this weekend so she's halfway there!
